If you wanna succeed, you have to try.

Bobby Knight says, "The will to succeed is important , but what's more important is the will to prepare"

This is actually one of the most elevating and the most inspiring words I've ever heard.

The First Step:
intention
Intention is the very first step. The foundation of success lies in your intention.
The definition of intention is "to have in mind a purpose or plan, to direct the aim, to aim". Lacking of intention actually moves us away from our goal and direction but with intention you can make an impossible work possible.
An example of a 70 year old woman named Bessie set an intention to become a world famous photographer. Although there were many who said she was too old for this, she never changed her mind. She entered a photo contest and won the first prize. She said "we're never too old to make a dream come true"
When you set an intention and then act on it, amazing things occur. Your intentions will actually help and assist in taking control of your life.

Believing:
So after you've intended. You need to believe in yourself. Believe in what you do. Believe you can do it even if life pushes you down you know you have to get back up. But how?
Venus Williams said "you have to believe in yourself when no one else does, that makes you a winner right there". Prove everyone how right you are even if life gets a bit rough and turns against you, so what? It's you against the world. You got your self. Believe in your self and don't give up.

Putting It To Work:
There’s no scarcity of opportunity to make a living at what you love. There is only a scarcity of resolve to make it happen.” ― Wayne W. Dyer
I have met a lot of self-made, successful people in my life working in different fields who have come from different backgrounds but the only thing they have in common is that they all work hard.
You must have heard this line, "Dreams don't work unless you do". That is hundred percent true and yes people did catch that "once in al life time" break at one stage in their lives, but know this, when that opportunity came about their lives, they were ready, because they were working, and once they said 'yes', they worked even harder.
So working cannot be skipped. You have to work in order to gain, and struggle is a part of it because success just doesn't come to you on a plate.

What is the most important time to start some work?
It is the present.
“Preparation breeds professionalism, and professionalism enhances leadership competencies.”
