Where has the music industry gone to?

Music are made for entertainment purposes and not just that but to engender motivation. It is made to uplift a person and make him feel better, but now a days, I hardly see any of those. It has gone from "you can be the greatest, you can be the best" to "she had a big booty so I called her big booty
".

Today ill be discussing music and what has happened to it.
Now I wrote this blog not to target one specific writer or singer but whole bunch of singers and rappers that are responsible for all the egregious habbits our youth is picking and imitating.
Where are the writers that used to be creative? That used to create imagery into the minds by beautifully crafting the words into song. They used to put efforts and employed words brilliantly so that the song would make sense. The lyrics made people reason and the melody used to galvanize the whole crowed and connected them. It spoke to them. We don't see that anymore, do we?
Words being used erroneously and rhyming words with the same words they rhyme it with.

I came across this amazing facebook page called "I discover stars" and I have to be honest, they post such great videos of young talents singing, rapping and much more. They actually made me reason that there are myriads of talented people out there who doesn't get a shot in the music industry, instead people who sing auto tune and sing about money, cars and b*tches are rightnow considered the biggest of this generation. Anyways, this facebook page is great and you can rate the videos from 1-10.
I asked some people about the new music and what is wrong with it, mostly people said that they don't like the lyrics, uses words in a very nonsensical way and it is illogical. Some also comaplined about shouting. Hi eminem.
No proper lyrics, now we can all agree on that. Next I asked people that how can it be improved and mosly everyone said "better quality lyrics". So that actually substantiates the importance of lyrics in a song.
Music is not completely dead though since they're are still some great singers in the industry. They're not completely on the top but the artist who are on top, they should take some serious notes from them of how to employ words and not be too caustic in nature since they carry the whole generation with them and kids look up to them.
